  • No ads on the senior's screen

Who we built this for

Families worried about a parent

You don't have to call every day

Even from far away, you can see right on your screen whether today is taken care of. You set up the medications and times in advance, so your parent never has to.

Seniors with no medication routine

There is only one button to press

No sign-up, no password. The text is large and the button is bigger than a fingertip. A mistaken tap can be undone within 15 minutes.

People managing on their own

Your own medications, the same way

It works without family too. Add your medications, get your own reminders, grow your own tree.

The senior's screen has one button

When it is time, the phone rings. The screen shows [Yes, I took it] and nothing else. No login, no sign-up, no settings — because a family member has already done all of that.

If now is a bad moment, [Remind me shortly] brings the reminder back in 10 minutes. Even with no connection, the tap is saved on the phone and syncs the moment the network returns.

How it works

  1. 1

    Photograph the medication bag

We read the medication names and dosage and fill them in for you. Nothing is registered until a person confirms it. The photo is used only to check the medication details and is not kept afterwards.

  2. 2

    Choose the times

The app never says "take it at this hour." Twice a day gives you two empty slots, and you fill them to fit your parent's day.

  3. 3

The phone rings at those times

Your parent can answer straight from the notification, or open the app and press the large button.

  4. 4

    Your screen updates within seconds

For a dose with no check-in yet, a [Remind again] button appears.

The tree grows with every check-in

A seed becomes a sprout, then a tree. Full-grown trees stay in the garden. They never wither — a missed day is never punished.

We never nag

Even with no check-in, Pilltree never says "you did not take your medication." It only says that the 8 PM check-in has not been entered yet.

Not pressing a button and not taking a medication are two different things, and no app can tell them apart. The moment someone feels watched, the app gets deleted — so what Pilltree does is not nagging but waiting.

What we left out

Ads

There are no ads of any kind on the screens a senior sees.

Judgments about medication

We never tell you to stop, increase, or combine medications. For anything about the medication itself, ask the doctor or pharmacist who prescribed it.

Date of birth, height, weight

We do not collect them. Only the year of birth. Medication names never appear in notification text either.

Get it here when it is ready

Pilltree is not a medical device. It does not judge whether a medication was taken and does not recommend medications; it is a record-keeping tool that reminds you of a schedule you entered and confirmed yourself. For anything about the medication itself, ask the doctor or pharmacist who prescribed it.
